Privacy and saved data
Short version: everything you type stays on your device. There are no accounts and nothing is uploaded.
What is stored, and where
To keep your work between visits, each tool saves its data in your browser's local storage. These are the keys:
brightpeaklet-matrix: the decision matrix (title, options, criteria, weights and scores)brightpeaklet-eisenhower: the Eisenhower matrix tasksbrightpeaklet-proscons: the pros and cons listbrightpeaklet-pairwise: the pairwise list and your answersbrightpeaklet-costbenefit: the cost-benefit tablebrightpeaklet-theme: your light or dark choice, if you made one
Each tool's Clear button removes its key, and clearing this site's data in your browser settings removes all of them. If your browser blocks storage, the tools still work but forget everything when you close the page. The site does not use cookies.
Analytics
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which adds Cloudflare Web Analytics to every page. It counts page views without cookies and without cross-site tracking, and it never receives what you type into the tools. Cloudflare, like any web host, handles the ordinary request data (such as your IP address) needed to deliver the pages; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Links to other sites
Pages link to sources, to sister sites and to two recommended services, CleanTempMail and WebTraceCheck. Those sites have their own privacy policies; nothing is passed to them unless you follow a link.
